Chapter II · The scholarship
All of the research on this site is, at its core, an attempt to answer four questions about how the environments of work shape the people inside them.
Each pillar is a long line of work. Each is animated by the same instinct: pay attention to the environment, not just the person standing inside it.
Reflexive and dialogical methods for organisational research — including the Imaginative Integrated Dialogical Approach (IIDA) and creative, fictionalised forms of academic writing.
Student-Centred Experiential Learning (SCEL) — using students' own family and lived experience as the lens through which organisational behaviour is taught.
Conceptual and applied work on leadership formation, engineering leadership, and leader–follower dynamics in an increasingly AI-mediated workplace.
Psychosocial safety, motivation and dissatisfaction, and the environmental conditions that determine whether people can speak up at work.
A theoretical model for how value transmission survives — and occasionally fails — the generational handover in family firms.
